It’s been quite a while since I posted any creative work (mainly due to me not having a camera since I lost it in May)… so here are some old photos of a few projects.
Thanks

I’m not really big on giving Easter Cards, but I do like to give chocolates sometimes and thought it would be nice to add a little gift tag to personalise it.
My little Easter Bunny is from the Stamp Set ‘Greetings Eight’ which has something for every occasion. You could adapt these tags for birthdays, mother’s day, father’s day, christmas etc…

Stamp Set: Greetings Eight Ink: Stazon Black Cardstock: So Saffron for tag and various scraps for background colour. Other: Hole punch, hemp twine, watercolour pencils, blender pen{ 2 comments }
Here is a cute little Easter Bunny Basket I have made my kids this year……… this is my daughters obviously as it is PINK!! How cute is that bunny! My boys have a green basket and a blue basket…….. how much fun is Easter
This was so much fun to make.
Cardstock/Designer Paper: Pretty in Pink, Kraft, Chocolate-Chip, Sweet Always DSP (Designer Series Paper) Punches: Small Oval, Large Oval, 1/2″ Circle Punch, 1 3/4″ punch, hole punch for eyes, corner of 1/2″ circle to make nose Other: Stampin’ Up! Crimper on handle, Big Shot Scalloped Envelope Die (x4) to form box, sticky strip, snail adhesive, Black Marker Pen to draw whiskars etc
If you would like to make one of these cute little Easter Baskets, please click here. I have used these instructions and adapted them to suit to punches that I own used a crimper on the handle instead of Designer Paper and the decorative edge punch.

Further to my last post about our Feb 2010 swap at Swap Sisters, here is the swap I received. Isn’t it wonderful!! You can view Tia Routledge’s blog to see more of her wonderful creations at http://craftingwithtia.weebly.com/index.html
Can you guess what the ‘Summer’ theme is? Look at the bag and the Designer Paper that has been used, does it remind you of anything…….. hint it’s something you eat in summer that is delicous!!! It’s Neapolitan Icecream! or some people have said Licorice Allsorts.

At Swap Sister, the February 2010 Swap was to create a 3D project with a ‘Summer’ theme to send to a fellow Demonstrator. We also had to develop a tutorial for our project. What does summer mean to me? was the first question ~ picnics, BBQ, cocktails, relaxing, beach, icecream, flowers……
So this is what I made, it’s a little ‘flower box’ with some flower seed packets in covers (sunflowers etc).
If you would like to receive the tutorial for this flower box, please email me at inspiredexpressions@iinet.net.au and request a copy.

I was asked if I could make a card for a gentleman who is turning 50 at the end of this month…. yes that’s right he was born on a leap year!!! The gentleman’s nephew thinks it is pretty funny that his Uncle is only 12½ years old (hehe!)…. so I had to incorporate that somehow into a card etc.
My brain was in overload for this one….. I wanted to do something ‘nice’ and ‘normal’ and have the gag being ‘hidden’…. so this is what I came up with. A card using the Stampin’ Up! retired Designer Paper Parisian Breeze (from the Spring 09 Mini), a matching covered paper mache box with an oversize badge (both available at local craft suppliers). The badge idea came from kids birthday cards that say ‘5 today’ etc…. so I made a 12½ today type of badge.
