Well, this week we see the Stampin’ Up! spring mini catalogue coming to an end.  This is your last opportunity to purchase items from this catalogue, after 31 November 2009 they will not be available for purchase :(

There are some really lovely sets in this mini, the Choo Choo and Right on track set are one of my favourites along with the Forest Friends.  Have one last look before it disappears………

Following on from my last post……

I had a heap of fun with the ‘I wish’ exclusive scrapbooking kit….. gosh I love Christmas!!!  This kit is so versatile and includes some absolutely beautiful designer papers.   I used some extra ribbon and cord from my stash to give them something special.

Simply scrappin’®

by michelle on 22/11/2009

in Cards for any occasion

I thought I would test out two of the simply scrappin’ exclusive scrapbooking kits this weekend……

Starting with the ‘Petal Party’ which is oh so spring and very pretty.  I love the flowers and the little birds/owls which I have not used yet.  I had a play around with 3 different designs, but the possibilities are endless and the kit contents seem to last and last….. I have plenty left for a few more projects!

I had a candle party today, oh so many pretty things to choose from……. convenient for Christmas pressies!

Apart from spending lots of money on candles (don’t tell my husband, hehe!),  I have been busy making more cards, these are a trio that would make a great gift for someone to keep handy for birthdays.

Traditional Christmas

18 November 2009

Have you started making your cards yet?
What’s a Christmas card without the traditional red & green!
Card – stamped with the ’spots’ stamp from the ‘Big Bold Birthday’ in ‘whisper white’ ink to look like snow.  I have crimped the red cardstock under the tree.  The tree is from the ‘Fun & Fast Notes’ stamp set [...]

Back to basics…..

I thought I would start out with a simple card design, for him and for her using the same stamp set ‘Big Bold Birthday’, and cardstock from the ‘bold brights’ range….   I love that this stamp set can be easily used to create an adult card for him or her, and also something for the [...]
